It happened during utero, the news that makes you tremble, the news that shakes the earth...."We hear a distinct murmur ma'am,There's an issue with the heart. We're not sure of your child's chances ma'am, It's going to be a rough start". You think "Why me?", "Why us?" as your world comes crashing down all around you; consumed by your worst fears.
The sharp pain in your chest. The heart breaks like a knife. Watching your precious child fight so hard for her life. The first few months are brutal. You walk around like a zombie. Endlessly wondering Will my baby get to call me Mommy? "Don't worry, it'll get better" Is something you can't stand to hear. It feels like everything is getting worse!!!! The end, it feels so near. Then suddenly the days seem to get a little brighter as you stare with loving eyes at your precious little fighter. You've never been so proud of one single soul, gradually reaching her milestones and accomplishing her goals.
Simply Savannah was born out of my deepest desire for my baby girl to have the absolute BEST in life, but not having the means to always provide it for her. I was endlessly searching for the cutest clothes at discounted prices and stumbled across several Facebook pages that offered just that. I would then turn around and sell the clothes Savi had grown out of and it very quickly turned into more than a hobby for me. Simply Savannah Boutique has become, not only a way for me to provide extra money for our family, but a much needed reprieve from constantly worrying about our precious baby girl and her tender heart... it has given me a purpose and ignited a passion in me that has given me the strength and courage I need to make it through another day.
A heart Mom's journey is one that never ends. Filled by support from family and friends. We all love a little deeper, and care a little more. Reminding ourselves everyday of how much we can be thankful for. We were given this life for a reason and at times it can get rough but I look at Savannah and remain tough!!!!!! For us, strength is NOT a choice it's a lifestyle we have to lead. It's what's keeps us going and it's what our heart child needs ❤️
